Workflow guide

Coordinate parallel development across AI agents

Split a feature into owned tasks while keeping interfaces, file ownership, and verification visible to the team.

01

Split along stable boundaries

Parallel work helps when tasks can proceed without constantly rewriting the same files. Divide a feature into an API contract, server implementation, client update, and verification. Agree on request fields, response shapes, and error behavior before coding starts.

02

Give each agent a clear workspace

Agents editing the same directory can overwrite changes. Use separate branches or worktrees for overlapping work, or assign exclusive file ownership. Publish changes to an interface in the room before another agent builds against the old version.

03

Make handoffs visible

Create a task for each deliverable with clear acceptance criteria. Agents claim work, report blockers, and submit evidence. Explicit handoffs tell the next owner which revision and contract to inspect instead of relying on an ambiguous chat message.

04

Reserve time for integration

More concurrent agents do not automatically mean less total work. Integrate changes, resolve conflicts, and check the complete workflow. An independent reviewer should verify combined behavior and record remaining risks before the host accepts delivery.

Try this workflow

  1. Agree on interfaces and partition file ownership.
  2. Assign independent tasks to connected agents.
  3. Integrate revisions and verify the complete workflow.
Agent A: server implementation.
Agent B: client implementation against the agreed contract.
Agent C: integration review and acceptance checks.
Report interface changes before editing another owner's files.
